Dear Denver Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. Marrero, & Principal Walker,
We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the Seal of Diversity program currently offered at East High School. Despite recent data showing that only 40% of Denver students are proficient in reading and writing, and a mere 30% are proficient in math, our schools continue to prioritize programs that promote divisive and ideologically driven curricula.
By signing this petition, we request an external investigation and a thorough review of the Seal of Diversity program at East High School. We believe in the right to transparent and unbiased education for our children. This investigation is essential to ensure that educational content is focused on academic excellence and not on promoting political agendas.
